Terms of service and sale
Last updated: April 26, 2026
These terms (« Terms ») govern access to the Dramascope service and the purchase of credits to unlock its paid features. By creating an account or purchasing credits, you accept these Terms without reservation.
1. The service
Dramascope is an online service operated by Diligeria (SASU under French law, SIREN 101 436 665, registered office: 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France). It allows you to:
- browse a library of public domain dramatic works (the « Dramathèque ») as dramagrams — visualizations of character vitality curves;
- for users with an account, upload your own texts and obtain a custom analysis in exchange for credits.
2. User account
Creating an account is free. It uses email + magic link (no password). Each account starts with a free balance of 5,000 characters of credits.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your email address and for all activity carried out from your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@dramascope.app.
You may delete your account at any time from your personal area. Deletion permanently erases your data and the dramagrams you have generated.
3. Credits and pricing
Paid features are unlocked by purchasing credits expressed in analyzed characters. One credit character corresponds to one character of the analyzed text.
As of the last update of these Terms, the commercial offer is:
- 30,000 character pack — €10 (VAT included), no subscription, no expiration.
Prices are shown VAT included, in euros. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Your bank card data never passes through our servers and is not stored by Diligeria. A Stripe invoice / receipt is automatically emailed to you after each purchase.
Credits are added to your account upon payment confirmation by Stripe (usually instantly).
5. Right of withdrawal and immediate service delivery
Under article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply « to the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun after the consumer's prior express agreement and express waiver of their right of withdrawal ». Since credit purchases are executed immediately (credits are usable as soon as they are added to the account), this exception applies.
You will be asked to confirm this waiver explicitly at the time of payment.
6. Refunds (commercial gesture)
If an analysis fails, credits are not debited — you can retry at no cost. If failure persists after multiple attempts, contact us.
Beyond this case, credits already consumed are in principle non-refundable. We do, however, review requests on a case-by-case basis as a commercial gesture — write to us at support@dramascope.app explaining the situation.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to upload only texts for which you hold the rights or which are rights-free. The following are prohibited:
- illegal, violent, hateful, or pornographic content;
- texts containing third-party personal data;
- texts protected by copyright that you do not own;
- any attempt to mass-extract Dramathèque analyses through scraping or unauthorized automation.
In case of breach, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account without refund.
8. Intellectual property
Dramascope's code, design, and visual identity belong to Diligeria. Analyses generated from public domain works are made available under a free license, provided Dramascope is credited as the source.
You retain ownership of texts you upload. By uploading them, you grant Diligeria a limited, non-exclusive license solely for producing and storing your dramagram in your private library.
9. Limitation of liability
Dramascope analyses are produced by artificial intelligence. While we do our best to ensure their quality, they may contain errors and cannot replace professional human analysis.
The service is provided « as is » and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the service.
10. Term and termination
These Terms are concluded for an indefinite period. You may terminate your account at any time from your personal area; termination causes the loss of any unused credit balance (except in special cases handled on a case-by-case basis).
Diligeria may terminate your account in case of breach of these Terms, after a formal notice that has remained without effect for 7 days.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms. The last update date appears at the top of this page. For substantial changes, we will notify you by email at least 15 days before they take effect. If you refuse the new Terms, you may terminate your account free of charge.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after seeking an amicable solution, the courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules provided by law.
Under article L611-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
