Data collected and purposes
User account
When you create an account, we collect your email address and your chosen interface language. Authentication uses magic links — we do not store passwords. We also track your remaining credits and analysis history.
Legal basis: contract performance (providing the service).
Texts you upload
When you upload a text for analysis, the text is temporarily stored on our servers and sent to our AI provider to produce the dramagram. The result (analyzed work, scenes, characters) is kept in your personal library, private by default.
Legal basis: contract performance.
Payments
If you purchase credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We never store your bank card data — only Stripe has access to it. We retain anonymized transaction history (amount, date, Stripe identifier) for accounting purposes.
Legal basis: contract performance + legal accounting obligations.
Technical logs
For service security and stability, our host Vercel keeps technical logs (IP address, user-agent, response code) for a limited time. These logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (service security).
Sub-processors
Dramascope relies on the following providers:
- Vercel Inc. (United States) — application hosting. Transfer covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Supabase Inc. (Singapore, EU servers) — database and file storage. Servers in eu-west region.
- Anthropic, PBC (United States) — provider of the language model used to analyze texts. Anthropic does not reuse texts sent via the API to train its models. Transfer covered by standard contractual clauses.
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) — payment processing.
- Brevo (France) — sending transactional emails (analysis confirmation, failure, receipt).
Retention periods
- Account and analysis history: as long as your account exists. Permanent deletion on request.
- Uploaded texts (raw sources): 30 days after analysis, then automatic purge. The result (dramagram) remains in your library.
- Technical logs: 30 days.
- Accounting data: 10 years (legal obligation).
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of your data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data.
- Portability: receive your data in a reusable format.
- Objection: refuse processing for legitimate reasons.
- Restriction: temporarily suspend processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dramascope.app. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
Dramascope only uses functional cookies required for the service to operate (authentication, session). No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics. No prior consent is required (article 82 of the French Informatique et Libertés law).

This policy may be updated. The last update date appears at the top of this page. For substantial changes, we will notify you by email.
